Round Steak with Mustard and Cream

A delicious steak with some added zing

Round steak with mustard and cream. Steaks aren't just for grilling outdoors. They are great cooked indoors on a skillet too. Try this recipe out for a delicious steak with some added zing.


Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grass fed butter
  • Round steaks
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 1 cup grass fed heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons dijon mustard

Heat the oil an butter in a skillet.
Add the steaks and cook over high heat for 3-4 min on each side.
Season with salt on both sides, transfer to a serving dish and keep covered and warm to rest.
Pour the brandy into the skillet and cook, scraping up the sediment the base, until the liquid has evaporated. Stir in the cream, season with salt if desired and cook until thickened.
Stir in the mustard, pour the sauce over the steaks and serve.
