Such a great cookbook by one of our members

That evening seems like forever ago:  Betsy and I actually found a night to go out for dinner alone and the restaurant owners suggested we sit with another couple (Betsy and Tom) who also loved great food.

We had a great night talking about food and life in general.  It turned out they were visiting the restaurant in part to find chefs across Minnesota who would contribute amazing recipes to a new cookbook.  We eventually contributed a few ideas from our farm cookbook and they chose to use the pate' recipe (it really is amazing if you haven't tried it).  They also became members of our little TC Farm group and over time I had forgotten all about the forthcoming book.

Anyhow, when our copy of the book showed up in the mail this week, I just had to make a post about it. We paged through every recipe and they all sound amazing. It was fun to notice a number of recipes were contributed by local chefs friends of ours that we really respect.  It seems to be a collection of some of the very best culinary minds in our state.  Pretty fun.

The photography is amazing. I can't imagine how much time it took to prepare all of these meals and photograph each one in such amazing beauty.  

I just wish I had been able to sample all of those meals over the last couple of years!
