Introducing our new Lunch Meat box

Its getting to be that time of year again. The sun is setting sooner. The days are getting cooler. The kids are heading back to school.

We got to thinking: Wouldn't it be great if we put together a sampler box of some of our favorite deli items that are easy to pack in a lunch?

So that's exactly what we did. Our new Lunch Meat box (164) is ready to order. It's full of some of our members' favorite foods and all of it is ready to eat. Great for lunches, picnics or simply snacking!

What's in the Box?

You get one pack each of about:

  • Pepperoni (0.7 pounds)
  • Summer Sausage (0.7 pounds, pre-sliced)
  • Sliced Ham (0.5 pounds, thinnish slices)
  • Beef/Pork Gyro (0.7 pounds)
  • Roast Beef (0.5 pounds, thin sliced)
  • Snack sticks (0.5 pounds of snack sticks)

This is a great healthy option for foods you know will get eaten. Our deli meats are unique -- we only use organic ingredients. We don't have any binders or phosphates to artificially boost fat and water content.

PLUS: our deli meats are less expensive than the factory farmed organic deli meats (which are hard to find even in the fanciest stores)

Just look for box 164 in the member portal to add it to your next delivery

Lunch Gear

I am often asked what lunch gear we bought so we are able to easily pack lunches for the kids.

We find that by chopping up a few types of veggies on Sunday and having some good cheese, fruit and lunch meat around, it is easy to make healthy lunches the kids love.

Having the right gear makes it easier and more fun as well. Here is what we have:

Silicone muffin liners to keep foods separate

Silicone sandwich bag (Dishwasher safe and way nicer than plastic)

Stainless Steel lunch boxes (5 compartment)

Small Thermos to keep things warm or cold

Small snack containers

We also include these small cloth napkins everyday that we talked about in our 'stop using paper' blog post
