Simple and easy for any meal of the day
I feel a bit sheepish that it took me so long to think of this simple twist on French Toast.
These grain-free cakes are GAPS intro diet approved and are an awesome healthy breakfast or snack on the go for you and your kids. Quick and easy to make, you'll have no problem serving up pancakes for the family any morning!
We used to make breakfast burritos all the time. At some point we fell for the marketing gimmicks and used to think that somehow those fake sausage soy crumbles were good for us, so we’d use those. Now of course we realize that soy is pretty damaging to our bodies and that factory made sausages are deficient in key vitamins, full of crazy artificial or ‘natural’ toxic flavors and thus we wouldn’t touch the stuff. Instead, here’s a great way to nourish your body with a tasty treat!
Kids love pancakes. The trouble is that even gluten free ones are full of processed flour which are really hard on developing bodies. These 'cakes' are a HUGE hit with our kids and we love how healthy they are.
Remember the restaurant Pannekoeken? Here’s our version. These pancakes are quick, easy and super tasty. They aren’t so great for those of you on a traditional or GAPS diet… but whatever, go for it! These taste great and have lots of healthy short and medium chain saturated fats and CLAs thanks for the pasture raised butter, eggs and coconut oil.
If you've ever had Betsy's scones, you know why this is one of our most popular recipes. Go on, indulge yourself!
