Introducing MNFood.Club

We're Growing Something Exciting

If you've been with us for a while, you know TC Farm as a collaborative group of local farms working together to bring exceptional food directly to your table. We've always believed that small farms deserve to thrive, and that you deserve access to the very best local food with minimal hassle.

Behind the scenes, we've been nurturing something bigger that's ready to bloom – and we're excited to finally share it with you.

OUR VISION: A TRANSFORMED LOCAL FOOD SYSTEM

What if farmers and local food makers could focus on what they do best – growing and crafting exceptional food – instead of spending countless hours on marketing, deliveries, and administration?

What if your grocery budget could directly support local food producers instead of distant corporations?

This is the future we're building with MNFood.Club.

By creating shared infrastructure for cold storage, deliveries, and online ordering, we're making it possible for independent small food producers to effectively become your local food co-op.

The result? Farmers and food makers earn a living wage. Communities gain access to better food. And our environment benefits from more sustainable growing practices.

Your choice to order through TC Farm is helping create this future right now.

Introducing MNFood.Club

MNFood.Club is the infrastructure organization that now powers TC Farm deliveries and supports other independent farmers and food makers in our region.

With MNFood.Club, we've created a shared hub with cold storage, a commercial kitchen, and a delivery network that allows other independent farmers and food makers that are not part of TC Farm to also take advantage of our infrastructure, delivery network and support system so that they can focus on what they do best—farming and food crafting.

What This Means For You

Website Interface Updates

  • We've redesigned our ordering system to make it faster, more intuitive, and more responsive to your needs.
  • You'll notice a streamlined ordering process that makes it easier to find and save your favorite items for later as well as to discover new products from our growing network of local farmers and food makers.
  • We've also made significant improvements to our subscription management tools, making it simpler to set up recurring deliveries for your weekly essentials.
  • In addition, there will be an early check out option so that you can reserve special meal items ahead of time like Holiday Turkey and Ham without worrying that they might be removed from your order because they are out of stock.

Expanded Delivery Options

  • Thanks to the combined resources of MNFood.Club, we're now able to offer more flexible delivery options than ever before.
  • Coming soon, most members will have two delivery day options each week, giving you more control over when your food arrives including the ability to schedule two deliveries per week for those who want the freshest possible ingredients throughout the week.
  • These expanded options are a direct result of the MNFood.Club model —by combining resources and creating more efficient delivery routes, we can offer better service while keeping costs manageable.

More Local Food Options!

    • This means more options and better service. As we add more independent farmers and food makers to our platform, you'll see even more local foods offered on our website.
    • You'll get access to products you can't find anywhere else, made by passionate local producers who care deeply about quality.

Why You Might See "MNFood.Club" on Communications

Starting soon, you'll notice some delivery notifications, order updates and order charges will come from "MNFood.Club" instead of TC Farm. Don't worry – this is still us!

It's simply reflecting that your delivery is being handled by our shared infrastructure system that supports multiple other independent farms and food makers. TC Farm remains a founding member and key part of MNFood.Club.

Why We Made This Change

Every year, about 8% of independent farmers are forced to quit farming altogether. The traditional food system simply wasn't built for small local farms – it was designed for industrial agriculture.

By creating MNFood.Club, we're building a revolutionary support system that allows small farmers and local food makers to:

  • Share critical resources instead of duplicating efforts
  • Focus on farming or food crafting instead of logistics and marketing
  • Offer a full selection of products to their customers
  • Compete effectively with big grocery chains

Your support through TC Farm has helped make this vision possible. When you purchase groceries and farm products through our platform, you're directly supporting this model that helps small farms and local food makers thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all! TC Farm remains exactly as you've known it – a collaborative group of local farms bringing exceptional food to your table. We're simply now part of a larger infrastructure network called MNFood.Club.

Absolutely! All the TC Farm products you love will continue to be available, nothing will change there. In fact, over time you'll have access to even more options from other independent local food makers as our network grows.

Nope! Your account information, ordering history, and preferences will all transfer seamlessly to our updated platform. You won't need to create a new account or re-enter any information.

We're building a food system that works better for both farmers, food makers and customers. By sharing resources through MNFood.Club, we are making it more sustainable for local farming and small food businesses to compete with the big-ag grocery system while making exceptional local food more accessible to our community.

MNFood.Club is attracting a diverse community of passionate local food artisans. These include:

  • Specialty bakers creating artisanal breads, pastries, and gluten-free options
  • Small-batch preservers making jams, pickles, and fermented foods
  • Local chefs preparing ready-to-eat meals using ingredients from our farm network
  • Beverage crafters producing kombucha, shrubs, and other specialty drinks
  • Specialty producers making items like hand-crafted chocolates, granola, and nut butters
  • Value-added producers who transform seasonal farm ingredients into shelf-stable products

Many are small businesses that previously struggled with distribution challenges or lacked access to commercial kitchen facilities. Through MNFood.Club, they've found both the infrastructure and customer base to help their businesses thrive.

Our large commercial kitchen serves as a crucial resource for local food entrepreneurs in several transformative ways:

  • Reduced startup costs: Food makers can access professional-grade equipment without the significant investment of building their own commercial kitchen, allowing them to launch or expand their businesses with lower overhead.
  • Shared resources: Producers benefit from our cold storage facilities, packaging area, and delivery network, creating an integrated system from production to customer doorstep.
  • Direct ingredient sourcing: Food makers gain direct access to seasonal, high-quality ingredients from our network of local farms.
  • Scalable production: As their businesses grow, producers can increase production without worrying about outgrowing their kitchen space or delivery capacity.
  • Seasonal flexibility: Farmers can extend their season and increase revenue by transforming excess harvest into value-added products (like turning summer tomatoes into pasta sauce or salsa).
  • Regulatory compliance: Our kitchen maintains all necessary licenses and certifications, simplifying the complex regulatory landscape for small producers.

Many of our food makers tell us that access to the shared kitchen has been game-changing - allowing them to focus on their craft rather than logistics while reaching a wider customer base through our established delivery network.
