Weight of this package will vary week to week depending on the value of what is included.
Please note that we are aiming to include a balanced share which maximizes local and heirloom produce. However, we also want to minimize food waste by ensuring the included food is usable in our busy lives! Plan on some foods from out of state, especially fruits and outside of the Minnesota growing season.

Minnesota's fruit season is fairly short; we will feature seasonal specialty fruit year round at its peak flavor, but will also include every day fruits in every package.
This salad combines salty, sweet, tangy and crunchy in a surprising but delicious way!
One of my favorite ways to eat pork chops. If you don't have whole fennel seeds at home, it's worth a trip to the store to get some for this recipe!
This meal is great for a brunch or dinner and is no more difficult than making pancakes. Do plan ahead though, as the batter needs time to rest.
The sneakiest way to eat your kale. And it is seriously tasty.
This warming stew is perfect for chilly weather! It's a great way to use up greens that may be hanging around. Kale, collard greens, escarole, dandelion greens, you name it!
A hearty fall or winter salad that is sure to satisfy!
The perfect pasta to ensure that none of the local, organic veggies in your produce share go to waste!
This is a staple in our house; it's flavorful but not spicy, filling but not heavy, and absolutely delicious. Our version is an adaptation of Sarah Raven's wonderful recipe. Serve over rice.
These chips are amazing.. so simple and healthy... but watch out, they are addictive and you'll never make enough to satisfy everyone the first time!
A fantastic meal… Wow is this good! It is delicious with parsnips or with wild rice.
Healthier than restaurant fries but just as delicious!
Make these when you have the grill going for burgers or brats; there's so good they might steal the show!
Our chorizo isn't dried like a traditional sausage, so it is a bit more versatile. Here is a simple dish that works for breakfast or dinner.
This is a fantastic dish full of cumin and citrus.
We love vegetarian meals. Rice isn’t something we should eat all the time for a wide range of reasons, but there nothing like a REAL risotto with Arborio rice. Strictly speaking this dish isn’t vegetarian since a homemade broth is essential to the flavor. The broth also adds electrolytes and helps cushion the onslaught of carbs the rice throws at us. This meal takes time to do it right, but it is easy. Just get a glass of wine and have a nice conversation.
A fantastic summer dish, easy to make a day or so ahead of time!
This week's produce share features some GIANT and not-so-giant kohlrabi, here are a few ideas on how to cook this funny-looking veggie.
We get so many great veggies from the veggie CSA we belong to. There are always items in the box that are a little unfamiliar though. We found a couple great ways to use them. Try this side dish for a vegetable you might not know as well...
