This simple marinade is great with our pork chops; just remember to plan ahead to give the meat time to soak in the flavor!

You will need:

  • 1-2 T. olive oil
  • ½ c. white wine (approximate)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2-4 T. chopped fresh herbs – rosemary, thyme, sage, or marjoram would be great choices
  • 2 TC Farm pork chops

Preparation:

Mix the first five ingredients in a blender or food processor … or if you want to do fewer dishes, make sure everything is finely chopped and just whisk them together.

Put the pork chops in a zip-top bag and pour in the marinade. Close the bag so there is no air and the chops are covered on all sides with marinade. Let sit at room temperature for an hour or two.

Grill the meat to your preferred level of cooking. We take ours off the heat at 125-130 degrees then let them rest for 5-10 minutes for a nice medium/medium-rare chop. You can baste the chops with the marinade in the beginning of the cooking process but leave them alone for the last few minutes.
