Our cookbook often calls for adding herbs to a recipe. As you start to expand your cooking chops, you'll want to mix things up and make the recipes your own. Herbs and spices are a great place to start. Begin with some delicious meat you can trust... raised right, no shortcuts. Then pick a recipe you like but change things up to suit your tastes a little better.

The good folks at Cooksmarts came up with an amazing infographic to help you out. Flavor profiles, the difference between fresh vs. dried, methods of storage and more. Be sure to check out their whole article for more tips as well as a link to the original (much higher resolution) graphic.
