Cranberry Sauce

  • 12oz fresh cranberries
  • ½ - ¾ cup sugar (depending on how sweet you want it to be)
  • 3/4 cup orange juice, 1-2 oranges
  • Zest from 1 orange


  1. In medium pan on medium-high heat, stir cranberries, sugar and orange juice to combine.
  2. Cook until sugar is entirely dissolved and the cranberries begin to burst (they’ll pop open). You can mash them too. Cook for about 5-8 minutes.
  3. Add zest and remove from heat. Cover pan and let cool.
  4. Once cool, put in serving or storage bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
