TC Farm Pork: Rotationally Grazed on Actual Green Pasture

Our pigs have continuous access to pasture and our farmers ensure that they graze rotationally so that our fields have the chance to recover & grow back stronger.

Our rotational grazing methods make a positive impact in a number of ways:

In order to provide the very best pork, we knew we needed to raise the healthiest pigs, supplied with the best nutrition.

Grocery store pork has been fed unhealthy diets and raised in crowded indoor environments. Can you imagine eating a diet of only dry corn and soymeal?!

Pigs have a similar digestive system as ours. The corn & soy diet that all grocery store pigs are fed is difficult to digest and leaves pigs feeling unhealthy and uncomfortable for the duration of their lives. We knew we could do better!

By providing our pigs with a healthy balanced diet and a natural stress-free lifestyle, our farmers ensure the healthiest, happiest pigs and the most flavorful pork you've ever tasted!

TC Farm Pigs Eat Local, Too!

Even the animals eat local at TC Farm! Farmer Keith, grows most of our pork's feed on his very own farm! How local is that?!

Our pigs enjoy the green pasture over the summer, and when it gets colder they can play in the snow, eating hay and a balanced diet from Keith's harvest. Nearly all of which was grown just a few feet away!

Thanks to our members' support, Keith was able to purchase a larger storage bin to hold the food that he grows. Check out the images below to see how big the grain bin was as it arrived, 48' wide and 70' tall!

Having the capacity to grow and store his own feed is critical to the success of Keith's farm and a testament to his sustainable farming methods!
