At TC Farm, our pork is different. 


In fact, not a single grocery store or butcher shop the Twin Cities sells pork that is raised outside! 


We raise our pigs to an extremely high standard and are proud to provide our members with pork they can trust & feel proud to serve & enjoy.

Rotationally Grazed on Actual Green Pasture

Our pigs have continuous access to pasture and our farmers ensure that they graze rotationally so that our fields have the chance to recover & grow back stronger.


Our rotational grazing methods make a positive impact in a number of ways:


  • Our pastures capture carbon and provide the very best animal welfare
  • Chemical-free fields provide a natural habitat for native plants & species
  • Healthy pastures protect lakes and streams by soaking in rain and reducing run-off

Plus, did you know that pork from pasture raised pigs contains more Vitamin D? Pigs love the sunshine, too!

The phrase "you are what you eat" rings true not just for TC Farm members but also for the animals under our care!


In order to provide the very best pork, we knew we needed to raise the healthiest pigs, supplied with the best nutrition. It's that simple!


Most grocery pork has been fed unhealthy diets and raised in crowded indoor environments. Can you imagine eating only dry corn and soymeal your entire life?


Pigs have a similar digestive system as ours. The corn/soy diet all grocery store pigs are fed is very difficult to digest and the pigs are unhealthy and uncomfortable their entire lives. This causes them to be agitated, aggressive & all around unpleasant to be around (who can blame them?).


By providing our pigs with a healthy balanced diet and a natural stress-free lifestyle, our farmers ensure the healthiest, happiest pigs and the most flavorful pork you've ever tasted!

TC Farm Pigs Eat Local, Too!

Even the animals at TC Farm eat local!


Farmer Keith, grows most of our pork's feed on his very own farm! How local is that?!


Our pigs enjoy the green pasture over the summer and then when it gets colder they play in the snow, eating hay and a balanced diet from Keith's harvest.  Nearly all of which was grown just a few feet away!


Thanks to our members' support, Keith was able to purchase a larger storage bin to hold the food that he grows. Check out the image to see how big the grain bin was as it arrived, 48' wide and 70' tall! 


Having the capacity to grow and store his own feed is critical to the success of Keith's farm and a testament to his sustainable farming methods!
