March's Mushroom Sampler: Black Pearl & Blue Oyster
Black Pearls are a hybrid between oyster and king trumpet mushrooms. Dense and meaty, they have large edible stems similar to an oyster mushroom yet slightly softer. Black Pearls have a unique flavor and peppery aftertaste and make a great addition to soups & chilis, pastas and other dishes!
Blue Oyster mushrooms are versatile with a delicate texture and flavor. Cooking brings out the best of their nutty taste, try Blue Oysters in risottos, pastas, pizzas & more!
