This combination of plants provides a bountiful browsing board for pollinators, birds, and wildlife to help prepare them for winter. Many of these natives are considered keystone species and are vitally important for supporting entire food webs.

The Fall Blooms Collection includes 6 species, 1 seed packet of each:

• Stiff Gentian (Gentianella quinquefolia) - 400 seeds
• Western Sunflower (Helianthus occidentalis) - 100 seeds
• Button Blazing Star (Liatris aspera) - 100 seeds
• Brown-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia triloba) - 750 seeds
• Showy Goldenrod (Solidago speciosa) - 1,000 seeds
• Smooth Blue Aster (Symphyotrichum laeve) - 750 seeds

For a naturalized look, combine all seed packets to cover approximately 40-45 sq ft. Surface sow outdoors on a weed-free site in late fall. Mow the first growing season. Expect first blooms in year 2 or 3. Alternatively, sow seed in rows in a garden setting in late fall. In spring, thin seedlings and weed as expected with vegetable gardening. Transplant to permanent locations that fall or the following spring.
