We prefer to pre-soak and ferment our porridge overnight. Add equal parts water and the cracked grains with a bit of yogurt and allow to sit overnight to improve nutrient content. Add another part of milk/cream or water before cooking in the morning and you'll have a wholesome and satisfying way to start your day.
