In the past, we focused primarily on our TC Farmers because they have always been central to our mission. But we also want to acknowledge that without our TC Farm operations team, what we are doing today would not be possible. Today, we start sharing the stories of our team, alongside our farmers, because we're all working together to create a stronger, more sustainable regional food system.

If you've ever called our TC Farm customer service line, you've more than likely been greeted by his friendly voice on the other end. He helps dozens of our TC Farm members everyday through phone calls, emails and even in-warehouse visits. He works tirelessly to help you find the answers or products you're looking for with great patience and ensures that the job is complete from when the request comes in to when you receive your answer or grocery delivery!

Get to know the wonderful person behind the voice below!

-Tell us a little bit about your role at TC Farm- What do you do?

I'm the friendly face (voice) behind our customer service and marketing at TC Farm! I also manage all of our delivery routing and driver support, which means if you ever have a question about your order or need help with anything, I'll likely be the one ensuring you get exactly what you need. I love connecting with our members and solving any issues that might come up along the way. Looking forward to chatting with you!

-What do you enjoy the most about working for TC Farm?

The food, hands down! After working in the grocery industry for over 6 years, I can confidently say there's nothing that comes close to matching our quality, environmental standards, and animal welfare practices.

Good food has always been important to me, and being part of building a local food system from the ground up feels like a dream job. I genuinely enjoy planning and creating content around where your food comes from and why it's so important.

-Why is TC Farm's mission of building a more sustainable food system important to you?

This mission is deeply personal to me. I studied geography at UW Madison with a focus on local food systems and farmers markets, which ignited my passion for sustainable agriculture.

Here's what changed everything for me: Learning that the largest impact we have on the environment is the choice that we make every day about the food that we eat. Once I understood that, I began a journey of food discovery that's included working on apple and lemon orchards, a cattle ranch, and spending over 5 years working as a beekeeper. These experiences showed me not only the challenges facing our local pollinators but also the daily struggles of small local farmers just to make ends meet.

What truly amazed me was seeing firsthand how holistically managed cattle on rotational grazing schedules can not only rebuild soil but restore entire ecosystems. I realized it's not about what we eat—it's how it was raised that makes all the difference.

-What are some of your favorite TC Farm foods & how do you like to prepare them?

Our bacon is absolutely unmatched! My favorite way to prepare it is simple but perfect: I place the strips on a cookie sheet and put them in a cold oven, then set it to 400 degrees. In about 10 minutes, when the edges are just getting crispy, take them out and let them cool off on a plate until they're ready to enjoy. Usually served with some TC Farm scrambled eggs, hot sauce and TC Farm sourdough toast. But BLT's in the summer are the best!

-What do you like doing most in your spare time?

Home cooking is central to my life—you'll find me in the kitchen nearly every evening creating something delicious with TC Farm ingredients.

I'm also passionate about permaculture and growing food. I recently moved into a house with a spacious backyard and can't wait to transform the lawn into a haven of edible plants and pollinator-friendly flowers. I'm already planning for chickens and beehives next year!

When I'm not cooking or gardening, I love escaping to the Boundary Waters for camping trips. I'm also an avid rock climber who's always plotting my next adventure out west!
