He wanted the sweet, crunchy cinnamon sugar churro without the mess on your fingers, so he turned it into a chocolate bar. The churro pieces are bread made with enriched wheat flour, nonfat dry milk and unsalted butter, and our chocolate gets sunflower lecithin and natural vanilla. It's peanut-free and part of our Signature Collection.

At Chuao, we handmake our chocolate in small batches at our "joy factory" in Carlsbad, California, and we use recipes in a kitchen, not formulas in a lab. Our proprietary blend carries the coveted flavor profile of Venezuelan cacao, and we work solely with fair trade farms that provide fair working conditions, compensation, education and healthcare to their communities.
