This is a gourmet antipasto you can serve on its own or cook with. Spoon it over pizza before baking, toss it through warm pasta with a little of its oil, or spread it on a sandwich in place of plain olives. The olives are packed in sunflower seed oil and olive oil, so the jar's oil is worth using too, whisked into a vinaigrette.

The jar keeps in the pantry until you open it. Refrigerate after opening.

At DeLallo we have been in business since 1950, and we offer more than 200 products sourced from Italy, the Mediterranean and beyond.

Ingredients: GREEN AND BLACK OLIVES, SUNFLOWER SEED OIL, OLIVE OIL, RED AND YELLOW PEPPERS, SALT, CAPERS, WINE VINEGAR, OREGANO, CITRIC ACID (ACIDITY REGULATOR) ASCORBIC ACID (ANTIOXIDANT).

Common Questions

What's an easy antipasto appetizer I can serve without cooking?
Our DeLallo Olive Bruschetta is a ready-made gourmet antipasto: open the 7.05 oz (200 g) jar and scoop it onto toasted slices of baguette. In Italy, bruschetta means toasted or grilled bread with a topping spooned over it, so toasting the bread is the only prep. A jar also sits easily on an antipasto board beside cured meats, cheeses and crackers, so guests can build their own bites.

How can I use olives in pasta, pizza, sandwiches and dips?
Our DeLallo Olive Bruschetta is a pre-seasoned olive mix you can use as an ingredient: stir it into dips, layer it in sandwiches, scatter it over pizza, toss it with pasta or whisk it into dressings. It already contains oil, salt, vinegar and oregano, so taste the dish before adding more salt or dressing. For pasta, toss it with hot noodles and a splash of the cooking water, which loosens the oil into a light sauce.

What's the difference between olive bruschetta and tomato bruschetta?
Both are toppings for toasted bread. The version most Americans know uses diced tomato, garlic and basil, while our DeLallo Olive Bruschetta is built on olives. Ours follows an authentic Italian recipe: a blend of tart, briny green and black olives in herbs and spices. Tomato bruschetta is usually mixed fresh and eaten the same day. Ours comes in a jar that keeps on the shelf until you open it.

Which olives are in DeLallo Olive Bruschetta?
Our Olive Bruschetta uses green and black olives; we don't name a variety such as kalamata. The full ingredients are green and black olives, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, red and yellow peppers, salt, capers, wine vinegar, oregano, citric acid (acidity regulator) and ascorbic acid (antioxidant).

Does DeLallo Olive Bruschetta need to be refrigerated?
Our Olive Bruschetta is shelf stable, so an unopened jar can go in the pantry, but it should be refrigerated after opening. Once it's open, use a clean spoon each time and keep the olives covered by their oil, which helps the rest of the jar stay fresh.

Where is DeLallo Olive Bruschetta made?
Our Olive Bruschetta is a product of Italy. At DeLallo we have been in business since 1950 and offer more than 200 products sourced from Italy, the Mediterranean and beyond.
