Your TC Farm CSA Guide: Everything You Need to Know

About Your CSA

What's included in my CSA box each week? 

You'll receive a curated selection of seasonal organic produce from our local farms. The contents change based on what's being harvested that week. 


You can see what's in your upcoming box by checking out our Weekly Features Blog each Thursday afternoon which is where we post the items we are planning to include in the next weeks produce boxes. Not every week goes exactly according to plan due to weather and other issues, so there will occasionally be substitutions included. 


When does my CSA deliver? 

Your available delivery days are based on your zip code and you may have several delivery day options to choose from. You'll receive an email reminder before each delivery as well as a text message delivery window the day before your delivery and a text message on the day of when our driver is 15 mins away.


Can I customize what's in my CSA box? 

The CSA box comes as-is based on seasonal harvest, but you can always add other items (meat, eggs, pantry, prepared meals) to come along with your delivery.


What happens at the end of the CSA season? 

After you receive your last prepaid box, your produce box subscription automatically continues on the same schedule (weekly or bi-weekly), but switches to pay-as-you-go. This means you'll be charged for each delivery going forward instead of paying upfront. 


We'll send you an email notification before your last prepaid box arrives, giving you time to decide whether to cancel your subscription or continue receiving produce boxes from us. We deliver produce year-round!

How Ordering Works

There's no "Submit Order" button. Our system works on cutoff dates instead of a traditional checkout. Here's how it works:

  • Add items to your cart throughout the week and adjust what you want before each delivery
  • As long as you make adjustments before the cutoff for that order, they'll be included in your next delivery
  • You'll receive an order confirmation email after the cutoff with your final order details
  • Your card on file is charged after the cutoff for any items you added

Think of it like a subscription service where you can adjust what you want before each delivery. This system lets you add and adjust items throughout the week without having to "check out" multiple times.

How to add items to your orders

There are two ways to add items to an upcoming order:


1. Adding from the search page


After searching for an item via the search bar, relevant products will be displayed. By clicking the + button, the item will automatically be added to your next available delivery date.

To view a product's page, click on the product image or name from the search page.


Once on the product's page, the next available delivery date option will automatically display. You can adjust this by clicking on the date dropdown and selecting from the pop-up calendar.


Once a delivery date is selected, click Add to Delivery.

All upcoming and current orders can be viewed and adjusted by clicking on the Deliveries tab on the top right of the page.

** Please review your upcoming deliveries frequently to make sure items are coming in the correct orders and delivery dates.

Managing Your Deliveries

Helpful tips to help you manage your orders
"Deliveries" Page - This is the page where you can manage your orders. Navigate to the deliveries page at anytime by clicking the basket icon in the top right corner of your screen.


Order Cut-Off - This is your deadline to make any changes to your order for that week. After this date, your order is locked in and we start packing your order.


Reschedule - Need your delivery on a different day? Use this to move your entire order to another delivery date that works better for you.


Skip - This pauses your order for that week so nothing processes or delivers. If you have a pre-paid subscription (like our produce CSA), skipping doesn't mean you lose a box - it just pushes everything back. You paid for a specific number of boxes, and you'll get every single one, even if you skip weeks here and there. Your season just extends a bit to make sure you receive everything you paid for before the end of the year.

What Is A Subscription?

An item subscription automatically adds the item you want regularly to your orders - at the frequencey that you set. Think of it like auto-ship for products you don't want to remember to order each time.

Key things to know:

  • You're only charged or each order (not upfront)
  • Pause, skip, or cancel anytime - no commitment
  • Manage everything in your account under "Subscriptions"
Example: Subscribe to eggs weekly, and a dozen eggs automatically arrives in every delivery. Traveling next week? Skip it. Need a break? Pause for as long as you want or cancel anytime.


Subscriptions are optional - you can always just add items one-time to any order instead.

Managing Your Subscriptions

Browse for a product that you would like regularly (milk & eggs are a good place to start) and click on item to subscribe and select your frequency and quantity. The item will automatically be added to your deliveries going forward.

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to "Subscriptions"
  3. Click on the subscription you want to manage
  4. Select "Cancel"
  5. Confirm on your deliveries page that the item is no longer in your upcoming order.

Adjusting subscription items

Your CSA subscription is prepaid for the season and delivers automatically.


Other subscriptions (eggs, meat, pantry items) are optional add-ons that:

  • Bill for each order
  • Can be paused or canceled anytime
  • Have no commitment

Think of your CSA box as your anchor, and everything else as flexible additions to build a complete grocery order around your CSA box.


After you have received all of your pre-paid boxes, your CSA subscription becomes just a normal subscription for that produce box and you can manage your subscription in your account just like any other.


My Account

In "My Account", go to "Account Settings." Add notes like gate codes, preferred drop-off location, or "leave in cooler on porch." These notes will apply to all future deliveries unless you change them.

From "My Account" and go to "Payment Methods" and click add new payment method. 


If updating your payment method, please delete your old one first.
