Easy NA Mixed Drinks with Local Sharab Shrubs

Shrubs, commonly known as drinking vinegars, have been getting more popular in the craft cocktail and culinary world. Most often used in cocktails and beverages, you can also use them in sauces, marinades and vinagrettes!
TC Farm is happy to offer local brand Sharab Shrubs, created by Alex Zweber in Minneapolis.
Explore their shrub flavors and canned shrub beverages below, plus get ideas for how to use them in some easy shrub drink recipes!
Shrubbles

Add 1/3 to a 1/2 ounce of Shrub to a glass of sparkling wine or dry cider
Shrub & Soda

Add 1 ounce Shrub to 6-8 ounces sparkling water or club soda
(flavored or classic)
Radler

Add 1/2 to 1 ounce Shrub to a beer of your choice (Sharab Shrubs recommends a Pilsner or hoppy option)
Plum Ginger Margarita

- 2 oz blanco tequila or soda/tonic mixer
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Plum and Wildflower Honey Shrub
- 1/4 oz agave
- Fresh ginger (to taste)
Combine in shaker, shake and strain into a ice filled glass. Top with candied ginger and a lemon peel.
- 2 strawberries
- 6 mint leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
Muddle in a glass, then add:
- 2 oz rum or soda/tonic water
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz Strawberry Shrub
Top with soda water (if using rum) and bitters. Garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.
Strawberry Mojito

Shrub Collins

- 1 3/4 oz gin or soda/tonic water
- 1/2oz Asian Pear Ginger Cinnamon Shrub
- 1/3 oz lemon juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
Shake, strain into a collins glass and top with soda water (if using gin).
